Seven years old, Up on a stage – modeling and trying to win the judges praise, Dancing, Permed hair and a smile. Eight years old, Proud – cut off shorts and baseball cap, I climbed a mountain. I tell my dad I’m a boy. And he laughs. Nine years old, Out on a field – hand me down mitt, Playing with the boys, Trying to make the team. Dresses And basebaNature Vs. Nuture
